On 10th December 2020, the members and friends of BUS Society thoroughly enjoyed the online talk presented by Tiffany Coates, who is considered the world’s foremost female motorcycle adventurer.

Tiffany has explored six continents by motorcycle, riding many hundreds of thousands of miles through countless countries during more than twenty years of adventurous journeys. Tiffany travels both solo and through her work as a motorcycle tour guide.  She travelled in Asia, Australia, Africa, the Americas, Timbuctoo, Outer Mongolia, Madagascar, Borneo, and even riding up to Everest Base Camp in Tibet. Please, follow her website, if you want to know more.

Tiffany shared her Uzbek experiences from crossing the dreaded Kyzyl-Kum Desert, visiting famous historical sites of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan by motorcycle and meeting many ordinary people on the way, who were delighted (and curious) to talk to a British female tourist traveling on her motorcycle, which was so unusual for the locals.
